About Lou

Lou Hart is a printmaker from North London. They began lino printing on their bedroom floor 4 years ago and recently graduated to their own studio. Their work is an expression of their struggles with their mental health, gender identity and sexuality. It is largely centred around their character of themself; the sad clown. Their core value is expressing the capacity of those who are  experiencing any kind of long term depression or grief to still experience the joys and whimsical mischievous moments in life.
